Glenn was a member of the Royal Academy of Arts.  He was a revered teacher who taught at universities across the country.  Glenn represented Canada at the XIII Sao Paulo Biennale in Brazil in 1983.  He headed the Visual Art Department at Acadia University and taught at the University of Victoria, University of Saskatchewan, Banff School of Fine Arts and the Victoria College of Art.  He was also a guest lecturer at the Ontario College of Art, York University and Alberta College.  In 1988 he founded the Victoria Drawing Academy.  He has written about art for the Montreal Star and was the Victoria Times art critic in the 1970's.  His figurative drawings and paintings are in the Canada Council National Collection and in the permanent collections of the Vancouver Art Gallery and the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria.  His works have been collected by individuals and corporations across Canada.  For the past eight years, he has appeared as a featured artist at the annual Painters at Painter's Lodge in Campbell River and participated at the Moss Street Paint In.

From his personal studios in Vancouver, Fan Tan Alley, Brentwood Bay and Curteis Point, Glenn taught and mentored many students who he truly loved and respected.  Often quiet and reflective, Glenn shared his wit, knowledge and passion for art with those who knew him.

He was loyal, compassionate, eloquent, intuitive, gracious and loving.

Glenn will be deeply missed by everyone whose life. he touched.
